A design brief is a written summary of a project that is being planned between the Interior Stylist and the client. The design brief needs to be very detailed so as to not raise ambiguity later on in the project.

Mood Boards:

The mood board is a presentation of colours and products we feel create the ideal look for your space. A proposed collection of textures, lifestyle photography and text relating to your brief as a reference point.

For Plans 2 and 3 it may be necessary to order items in advance and hold them in a storage facility. Lux Design have a dedicated space available for this which means you won’t incur numerous deliveries spread over a number days and your products will be kept safe for the life of the process.

Where we purchase your products we will hold a copy of receipts on file. This means you can contact your Interior Stylist should you need to recover any misplaced paperwork later on.

Site Survey:

As part of our thorough service we may recommend a site survey. This will be a meeting on site to review the surroundings, capture measurements and existing fixtures. This service is chargeable and will be discussed during the briefing process.
